Each and every project that I take on has its early development concepting stage. My typical medium in this phase before working through eraly concept modeling in Solidworks is a mechanical pencil and my sketchbook. Below are series of sketches most of which pertain to finished projects on this website. All sketches have been done within the last few years for various projects that I have worked on. All of the sketch groupings are linked to their specific project page of which they play a part of the story that would ultimately lead to a final design. While most of these images are finished sketches leaning more towards a presentation quality work, you will also see some preliminary engineering happening as well just general form studies and broader ranges of concepts that ultimately circle back to the finished product. When I am sketching I am also thinking about the materials, general scale, and how the product will be manufactured. This for me is the early gateway to further development and how I bring products to life . Please enjoy!
